October 28, 2009 - Sire Sum Fun To Bet is moving to Norse Ridge Farm at King Township, Ontario, for the 2010 breeding season, joining the Quarter Horse program administered by the Ontario Racing Commission.

The 10-year-old son of Strawfly Special out of world champion Down With Debt, by First Down Dash, owned by Hernandez Labor, Inc., formerly stood at Tate Farm, near Ville Platte, Louisiana.

Sum Fun To Bet joins proven sire Black Moons Arising and freshman sire DM Selexus (a winning full brother to world champion DM Shicago) at Heste Sport, Norse Ridge Farm, which has been Canada's leading High Point Breeder for the past three years and the top breeder in Ontario since 2006.

From three small crops of racing age, Sum Fun To Bet has sired multiple-Grade 1 performer Miss Kittys Bar Bet, earner of $261,981 including a second in the 2009 Charger Bar Handicap (G1) and the fastest qualifier for the 2007 Kindergarten Futurity (G1) and Sum Fun to Watch, victor in the 2009 Alex Picov Memorial Futurity at Ajax Downs.

Bred in California by Dr. and Mrs. George N. Haddad, Sum Fun To Bet is a stakes-placed winner by the legendary Strawfly Special, sire of 80 stakes winners and earners of more than $25 million.

He is a full brother to graded stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Fly Out Of Debt, Grade 1-placed stakes winner Dually In Debt, and is one of nine winners, five stakes horses, and 11 ROM runners produced by Down With Debt.
